District Office Reutlingen

Positioned on a prominent site northeast of the city center, the new District Office marks a gateway to Reutlingen and revitalizes a long-neglected area. Two interlocking volumes with recessed courtyards and stepped heights integrate the large structure into its context while giving it a distinctive civic identity through its striking gabled form.

A refined brick façade with vertical rhythms creates a play of light and shadow, reinforcing the building’s urban presence. An arcade along Karlstraße and a sheltered entrance courtyard provide a welcoming public forecourt, linking the city to generous, light-filled interior spaces.
